Tarja Cronberg holds two Ph.D. degrees, in technology and business. A Finnish Green League politician, she chaired her party from 2005 until 2009 and served as a member of the European Parliament from 2011 until 2014. She served as Head of the European Parliament’s Delegation for Relations with Iran and is Chair of GSI’s Middle Powers Initiative.
Her book, Nuclear Multilateralism and Iran: Inside EU Negotiations, chronicles the important commitments of European nations in creating the JCPOA, vital data in understanding the consequences of President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JNPOA).
