There have been some changes and updates to GSI’s Calendar of Events for autumn. For example, we now have secured the co-sponsorship of the Government of China for our event on outer space security, held in Conference Room 4 of the United Nations on October 15th.

“Final Frontier” Film Presentation and Dialogue at the UN*

The Global Security Institute and the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs will co-sponsor the screening of “Final Frontier”, which highlights the issue of space weaponization from the perspective of the youth of today. This is the second UN screening for the 14-year-old filmmakers Stephen Sotor and Trace Gaynor, who showed their film, “Genie in a Bottle: Unleashed,” at the 2005 NPT Review Conference. Following the film, Mr. Granoff will moderate a dialogue with the filmmakers.
