The Inter-Parliamentary Union, the focal point for worldwide parliamentary dialogue working to establish representative democracy and promote peace and cooperation among peoples, together with the GSI program, the network of Parliamentarians for Nuclear Non-proliferation and Disarmament (PNND), published “Supporting Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament,” an IPU handbook for parliamentarians.
The handbook is an innovative tool for parliamentarians and parliamentary advocates worldwide. The English language version was launched on United Nations Day, 2012. The Spanish-language version was launched at the recent IPU Assembly in Quito, Ecuador. The handbook is also available in French.
